Warranty Claims for Quality-Related Issues:

All quality-related defects on items sold directly by Switchubshop or through our authorized resellers are covered under an extensive warranty, starting from the date of purchase.

Warranty Claim Process:

  • You must provide sufficient proof of purchase.
  • Switchubshop will document the troubleshooting process for the product.
  • The defective item’s serial number and/or visible proof of the defect are required.
  • It may be necessary to return the item for inspection.
  • If a defective item is returned, and the wrong item is sent back or not returned, the warranty for the replacement will be void.

Accepted Proof of Purchase:

  • Order numbers for online purchases made directly from Switchubshop or authorized resellers.
  • Sales invoice or dated sales receipt from authorized sellers that includes product description and price.

Exclusions (What the Warranty Does Not Cover):

  • Products with missing, altered, or unreadable serial numbers.
  • Damage resulting from transportation, including scratches, dents, or any other cosmetic damage.
  • Damage is caused by incorrect electrical current, voltage fluctuations, or surges.
  • Improper use or application beyond the product’s intended purpose.
  • Damage caused by non-Switchubshop products or third-party equipment.
  • Accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, fire, water damage, lightning, or other natural events.
  • Products used in commercial environments.
  • Expenses incurred to make the product accessible for repair, such as removing trim, cupboards, or shelves.
  • Service calls for consumable items like light bulbs, filters, knobs, handles, or cosmetic parts.
  • Additional charges for after-hours, weekend, or holiday service calls, including mileage expenses for remote locations.
  • Damage caused by improper installation, modifications, or alterations.
  • Damage caused by unauthorized parts or service performed by non-approved service providers.

Additional Notifications:

  • All quality-related issues on items sold by Switchubshop or authorized resellers are covered under warranty, starting from the date of purchase.
  • The warranty is restricted to the country of purchase and is void if the product is taken outside the country where it was originally bought or shipped.
  • This warranty covers only original Switchubshop products and does not apply to normal wear and tear or defects caused by misuse.
  • The warranty applies only to the primary product and is not transferable. Any additional or free items are not covered under the warranty.
  • If a product fails under normal usage and within the guidelines of the instruction manual, a replacement will be provided free of charge.
  • All shipped products are deemed to be in good condition following quality control. Requests for refunds are not accepted once the product has been received.

Refund Requests:

Refunds are only considered in exceptional cases and must be approved by Switchubshop. Once approved, refunds will be processed according to the original payment method used:

Payment via Wallet or Bank Transfer: Refund requests must be made before the product is received. Please contact our customer service team at office@switchub.ng for assistance.

Cash on Delivery (COD) and Other Payment Channels: All products are subject to quality control before shipping, and refund requests for products paid via COD are not accepted once the product is received.

Important: Please retain your purchase receipt. This warranty applies only to original Switchubshop products. It does not cover normal wear and tear or damage resulting from misuse. The warranty is valid for the primary product only, and additional or promotional items are not covered under the warranty.
